Sidharth Shankar Asnani is a litigator with a broad practice. He has a particular focus on commercial litigation, corporate disputes, and international arbitration, while simultaneously developing expertise across all of the Chambers’ practice areas.
He holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge (2021) and was called to the Bar of England and Wales (Middle Temple) in 2022. He was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2023 and was admitted as an Advocate by the High Court of Sabah and Sarawak in October 2024.
Sidharth joined the firm as an associate following the completion of his pupillage at a prominent Malaysian law firm in 2023 and further honed his skills as an associate at another firm in 2024.
During his time at Cambridge, Sidharth served as Senior Editor of the Cambridge Law Review and was an active participant in mooting competitions. He also volunteered at the UNHCR clinic, providing legal aid and pro bono services. Additionally, Sidharth contributes to the legal field by authoring and co-authoring publications on topics like the enforcement of ICSID awards and foreign judgement in Malaysia.
